1. Turkmenistan celebrated one of the country’s main national holidays – Independence Day – on September 27. A festive parade was held in Ashgabat on the square in front of the State Tribune complex. In the evening, was held a festive concert and fireworks display on the square in front of the “Alem” cultural and entertainment center.
2. A meeting between the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the head of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov was held in Ashgabat. The parties discussed the current state and prospects for cooperation between Turkmenistan and Tatarstan in the trade, economic and humanitarian spheres. Rustam Minnikhanov stated that the business community of Tatarstan is interested in expanding its position in the Turkmen market.
3. One of the tallest buildings in the center of Ankara - the building of the Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry and Exchanges of Türkiye - was painted in the colors of the national flag of Turkmenistan. This friendly gesture in honor of the 32nd anniversary of the independence of Turkmenistan demonstrated the high level of Turkmen-Turkish cooperation. With a height of 140 meters, this building is one of the tallest buildings in Ankara.
4. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the European Union to Turkmenistan, Beata Peksa. The Ambassador presented her credentials to the head of state and congratulated him on the 32nd anniversary of the independence of Turkmenistan. As President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted, Turkmenistan attaches great importance to cooperation with the EU in various fields.

From October 24, 2023, the app will only be supported on devices running Android 5.0 and above. Today WhatsApp works on smartphones running Android 4.1 and later. 8. The first semi-final matches of the Turkmenistan Football Cup was held. “Arkadag” beat “Altyn Asyr” with a score of 4:1, and “Merv” played a draw with “Ahal” - 1:1. 9. The congress of the International Tennis Federation (ITF) ended in Mexico, within the framework of which the elections of the president and members of the board of this sports organization took place. The event was attended by the Chairman of the Tennis Federation of Turkmenistan (TTF), Eziz Dovletov, who, on behalf of the national federation, voted for the new leadership of the ITF. On the sidelines of the congress, the achievements of the Turkmen Tennis Federation over the past 4 years were noted, which were set as an example of successful development for other national federations. At the end of the congress, a doubles tennis tournament was held among the delegates, in which 96 leaders from 147 countries took part. As a result, Turkmenistan was awarded a gold medal. The head of the Turkmen federation, Eziz Dovletov, paired with Aditya Kanna from India, won 9 victories, including in the final over tennis legend Mark Woodford.
