An information day of the Erasmus+ program was held yesterday at the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan. This was reported on the university's website.
Coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office in Turkmenistan Ayna Choreklieva presented information on the opportunities within the Erasmus+ programme in the field of higher education for universities in Turkmenistan.
Erasmus+ is the European Union's programme for higher and vocational education, cross-border cooperation, youth development and sport. Running for the period 2021-2027, the programme continues to create broad access opportunities for institutions and individuals of all ages working in the education sector.
The programme pays special attention to social integration, youth participation in democratic life and the transition to “green” and “digital” technologies.
The participants of the seminar got acquainted with the various areas of the programme:
- Capacity building in higher education;
- International credit mobility;
- Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters Degrees,
- Jean Monnet Programme.
Teachers and students of the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan received information on how to apply for various projects and scholarship programs.
Earlier, we reported that in 2025, two more projects will be launched in Turkmenistan within the framework of the Erasmus+ program.
