The authorities of Manchester (Great Britain) are planning to demolish a new house, which turned out to be 75 centimeters higher than the permitted height, reports gazeta.ru with reference to the Mirror.
The plan for the Prestwich site was initially approved by the town council. However, after completion of the work, the commission discovered that the house did not comply with the approved project and exceeded the permissible height. In this regard, a decision was made to dismantle it.
“The height of the building has been increased by approximately 75cm and the main entrance steps do not comply with the approved plan. The height of the south gable also does not correspond to the declared height, since windows were added on the first and second floors,” the commission’s conclusion says.
The property owners' appeal was rejected. Now the owner of the house has only six months to demolish it.
