Yesterday, a group of scientists from the People's Republic of China, who arrived in Ashgabat to participate in the III Turkmen-Chinese Scientific and Innovation Forum, visited the Institute of Chemistry of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan.
The guests were told about the achievements of Turkmen chemists, promising plans for the development of the industry and international cooperation in this area, reports “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.
Chinese scientists also visited the laboratories and got acquainted with the research work carried out here.
Of particular interest were the research and scientific developments carried out at the institute related to the processing of mineral, hydromineral and hydrocarbon raw materials and the production of fertilizers.
Turkmen scientists made several proposals for further expansion of scientific cooperation. As was emphasized, a wide range of joint scientific and practical activities is mutually beneficial and meets the interests of Turkmenistan and China in the field of chemistry, chemical technology and ecology.
Today, the III Turkmen-Chinese scientific forum “Innovations, new technologies and issues of their implementation in production” starts in Ashgabat. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated the participants on the beginning of the event, emphasizing the importance of international cooperation in the field of science and innovative technologies.
