1. Residents of the Turkmen capital have officially opened the swimming season in the water park of the “Gala” cultural and entertainment center. Here guests will find entertainment to their liking, regardless of age. The swimming pool is open daily from 10:00 to 22:00. Prevention on Monday from 09:00 to 14:30.

2. The wearing of masks in the open air has been canceled in Turkmenistan since June 1, however, observance of the mask regime in enclosed spaces and in all types of transport is still in force.

3. Turkmenistan resumed the construction of the Akina-Andkhoy railway in Afghanistan. Engineers and railway specialists of Turkmenistan arrived in the city of Akina to continue the construction of the Akina-Andkhoy railway line. Turkmen specialists also brought all the required machinery and equipment.

4. Central Bank of Turkmenistan approved a new procedure for provision of funds by credit institutions. The decision to grant or refuse granting a loan is made by a special commission of the credit institution, which must notify the borrower of it within 10 working days from the date of an application’s receipt.

5. Florists from Turkmenistan will participate in the International Flower Festival-2022 in St. Petersburg. The International Flower Festival will be held from 9 to 11 June at Ostrovsky Square. The program includes floristic shows and master classes, a flower ball, demonstrations of bouquets and flower arrangements.

6. The opening of the long-awaited Lalique corner – one of the most famous French manufacturers of decorative items and jewelry made of crystal and glass was held in Ashgabat. The opening ceremony was held at the M Crystal boutique in the “Altyn Zaman” shopping center. The special guest of the event was the French Ambassador to Turkmenistan Isabelle Guinel.

7. The UK launched a test of a four-day work week. 70 British companies with more than 3300 employees will participate in the pilot project. The experiment will be within six months.

8. Any citizen entering Kazakhstan, from June 8, 2022, is exempted from the obligation to present a COVID-19 vaccination certificate and PCR test results.

9. The youth team of Turkmenistan for the first time in the history of the Asian Football Cup (under 23) reached the playoffs of the tournament. The Turkmen team pulled out a draw in the match with Qatar in the last round 2:2 and entered the top 8 teams of Asia.

10. 14 Turkmen judokas will participate in the international “Grand Slam” tournament, which will be held in Ulaanbaatar (Mongolia) from June 24 to 26. 193 athletes are expected to participate in the tournament, including 122 men and 71 women from 25 countries.
