In the UK launched a test of a four-day work week. 70 British companies with more than 3300 employees will participate in the pilot project. As notes “Afisha Daily”, the businesses profile, participating in testing is quite wide – from cafes to marketing agencies and food manufactures.
The experiment will be within six months according to the “100:80:100” scheme, which means 100% of the salary while reducing the time spent by employees by up to 80% and maintaining 100% productivity.
It is noted that during the entire testing period, experts will study not only the reaction of employees to an additional day off in terms of stress and burnout, satisfaction with life and work, but also such aspects as sleep quality, energy costs, range of movement. Analysts will work with each organization participating in the project.
