Any citizen entering Kazakhstan, from June 8, 2022, is exempted from the obligation to present a COVID-19 vaccination certificate and PCR test results. The press service of the Government of Kazakhstan reported about this.
From June 8 of this year, the mandatory requirement for citizens of Kazakhstan and foreigners to present documentary evidence of vaccination or revaccination against COVID-19 (passport/certificate/certificate of vaccination against COVID-19), and in their absence, a certificate with a negative test result for COVID-19 by PCR method when crossing the State border of Kazakhstan.
It is noted that the basis for this decision was the improvement of the epidemic situation in the country and the world.
