The Solid Control Operator is responsible to operate the Cuttings Dryer, shakers, hydrocyclones, centrifuges, etc
Successful Position holders are excellent communicators, enjoy solving problems, and work well both independently and in a team.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Maintenance and operation of shakers, Dryer and centrifuges.
Check and ensure good functioning of the solid control equipment.
Perform repair of the solid control equipment.
Ensuring maintenance of equipment is in place and as per schedule.
Adheres to Electrical Safety Guidelines & Lock Out/ Tag Out procedures.
Able to explain proper grounding techniques and the risks associated with wiring motors for high and low voltage for electrical equipment.
Able to assist with basic troubleshooting of electrical circuitry in order to maintain equipment in operational condition.
Prepare relevant reports.
Complies with all company and regulatory Quality, HSE and IT standards and policies.
Wears all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required and maintains required Quality & HSE certifications up-to-date.
Takes proactive measures to eliminate safety hazards by performing an appropriate Risk Analysis before each job or task.
Qualifications and Experience:
High school, college/university education with rig site experience in operating solid control equipment. (Formal theoretical education may be compensated by long-term experience.).
Minimum two (2) years oilfield, and/or relevant hands-on experience with electromechanical equipment.
Experience as a mechanic or operator with knowledge of machinery and hydraulic, electrical, and other systems and their components.
Ability to use all tools and equipment and diagnose mechanical problems.
Strong understanding of HSE culture, with a proven record of implementing and maintaining safety practices.
Good knowledge of written and spoken English and Russian.
