On January 8, teachers in Turkmenistan held working meetings at educational institutions to review the results of the first half of the 2025-2026 academic year and outline key objectives for the second half, according to "Turkmenistan: Golden Age."

Thus, 165 secondary school teachers gathered at the 1st Specialized Educational and Training Complex in the city of Arkadag. The speeches proudly noted the successes achieved through large-scale education reforms aimed at developing and continuously improving the national education system, bringing it up to international standards. The need for further implementation of the latest teaching methods in the educational process was emphasized, ensuring students fully master the curriculum.

Meetings were held in a lively atmosphere at specialized secondary schools No. 29 and No. 131 in Ashgabat, offering in-depth study of foreign languages. Presentations addressed methods for implementing innovative teaching technologies and digital resources in the classroom, as well as approaches to modernizing specialized schools and preschools offering in-depth study of academic subjects. Discussions focused on ensuring seamless integration between preschool education and primary education, motivating students to engage in their studies, and exploring and disseminating best practices.

A similar meeting also brought together teachers from preschools and secondary schools in the Mary velayat. The event was attended by honored teachers of the region, honorary elders, members of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, representatives of public organizations, the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, and other guests. Attention was paid to long-term objectives in the context of the Concept for Improving Teaching Methods in General Education Programs in Turkmenistan until 2028. In this regard, the importance of continuously improving teaching skills, studying and disseminating the best foreign and national experience and practices, introducing highly effective modern teaching methods, ensuring interdisciplinary connections, and developing practical skills and abilities in students was emphasized.
