The message that President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov addressed to President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan today expresses gratitude to the Turkish leader for his special attention and personal contribution to the further development of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries. This is reported by the state news Agency of Turkmenistan.
"The fraternal Turkmen-Turkish relations that have been tested by history and have gained rich experience today are a solid Foundation for the successful implementation of tasks in the political, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres," the Turkmen leader said.
Berdimuhamedov also noted that at present the world community is facing a pandemic that has engulfed a huge geographical area and threatens all mankind. He expressed gratitude for the fact that, thanks to the support of the Turkish leader, medical drugs and personal protection equipment were sent to Turkmenistan.
"We regard this as a bright symbol of unbreakable friendship and brotherhood between our countries," the President of Turkmenistan said.
