During a telephone conversation between President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Emir of the state of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani, the parties exchanged greetings on the occasion of “Gurban bayramy” and discussed a number of topical issues, the state news Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
They expressed their mutual desire to bring strategic and long-term cooperation to a new level, also aimed at further strengthening the role of the two friendly States in the global geopolitical and economic space.
During the telephone conversation, the topic of the coronavirus pandemic was raised in the context of discussing topical issues on the regional and global agenda.
The President of Turkmenistan expressed his conviction that in order to achieve concrete results, active interaction of all States is necessary and confirmed the constant readiness of our country to cooperate widely in developing new methods and approaches in this direction.
