President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, during today's telephone conversation with President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, cordially congratulated the Turkmen leader on his 63rd birthday-the age revered in the Islamic world as the age of the prophet Muhammad, wishing him good health, prosperity and new success in his responsible and multifaceted activities at the highest state post.

The President of Turkey noted that under the leadership of Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the authority of Turkmenistan in the region and in the world as one of the most powerful States in Asia is steadily increasing and strengthening. Turkey always supports the creative initiatives put forward by the Turkmen leader, and sincerely rejoices at the success of the fraternal people.

Giving a high assessment to the Turkmen-Turkish dialogue, which has acquired a new quality and content in the modern historical era, the interlocutors discussed the state and prospects of bilateral cooperation, taking into account the agreements reached earlier.

It was noted that trade, economic, humanitarian and cultural contacts were growing, and the sides called for further activation of effective cooperation.

The Turkmen leader thanked his Turkish counterpart for his unwavering support for Turkmenistan's international initiatives, especially in ensuring peace and security.
