On behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Chairman of the Mejlis D. Gulmanova accepted credentials from the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Somalia to Turkmenistan, Fathudin Ali Mohamed, reports the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
On behalf of the head of the Turkmen state, the head of the national Parliament congratulated the diplomat on his appointment to a responsible post. In response, Fathudin Ali Mohamed conveyed warm greetings from the top leadership of Somalia and wishes for well-being and prosperity to the entire Turkmen people to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
During the conversation, the ambassador was informed about the main directions of the internal and external strategy of Turkmenistan, which pays special attention to the development of mutually beneficial cooperation with all interested countries of the world. The diplomat also got acquainted with the structure and activities of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan.
Thanking for the warm welcome, Fathudin Ali Mohamed noted that he considers it a great honor to be the representative of Somalia in independent neutral Turkmenistan.
