1. In honor of the Harvest Festival, various thematic conferences, exhibitions and fairs were organized in all corners of Turkmenistan. This year is marked by high achievements of farmers. A rich cotton harvest has been grown in the country, and the state order for the procurement of food grain has been fulfilled - about 1 million 500 thousand tons of wheat. Producers of fruits and vegetables and gourds distinguished themselves by high indicators. Local silkworm farmers also successfully fulfilled their contractual obligations for the harvesting of silkworm cocoons, having handed over to the state over 2 thousand 300 tons of raw materials for the textile industry.
3. The Embassy of India in Ashgabat organized and held an Indian sari competition. Turkmen fans of the national Indian costume took an active part in the competition. They showcased the skills of traditional sari wearing as well as design ideas in innovative ways to drape it. The winners of the competition were personally congratulated by the Ambassador of India to Turkmenistan Vidhu Peethambaran Nair.
4. In the village of Jebel, Balkan velayat, work on the reconstruction and overhaul of the kaolin plant is being completed. It is planned to sell products from this enterprise not only on the domestic market, but also to export them.
5. A competition among young cooks was organized in Turkmenabat, in which students of two special technical schools and a secondary special river school participated. Participants of the competition showed their knowledge and skills. An exhibition of dishes prepared by students was also organized here.
6. The Consular Section of the Russian Embassy in Turkmenistan from December 1, 2022 will stop accepting students on the issue of issuing study visas on a first-come, first-served basis. Reception of all categories of citizens from December 1, 2022 will be carried out only by prior electronic appointment.
7. In the Indian state of Odisha, a herd of elephants drank a liquor left by the inhabitants of one of the villages and, drunk, fell asleep right at the “crime scene”. Residents of the state prepare a liquor from the leaves of a tree growing in local forests. To make the broth ferment, it is kept in large pots for several days. In the morning, the inhabitants came to the place where the pots were with the preparation to make liquor from it, but they found only broken pots and sleeping elephants - nine males, six females and nine baby elephants.
8. Actress Lindsay Lohan has expressed her desire to star in one of the films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. According to her, she is ready to star in any projects if she likes the script, especially when it comes to romantic comedies, but she has no experience in filming action films. Therefore, she would gladly take part in the next Marvel project.
9. The World Sambo Championship has ended in Bishkek. According to the results of the world championship, the national team of Turkmenistan has 6 awards - one gold, one silver and four bronze. Muhammet Kossekov became the world champion in the national team of Turkmenistan in sambo. In the final fight in the weight category up to 64 kg, the Turkmen athlete defeated Elvin Bagirov from Azerbaijan.
On the second day of the competition, two “bronze” medals were won by representatives of classical sambo Kakageldi Yegenbayev (up to 71 kg) and Batyr Hojamuhammedov (over 98 kg).
On the final day of the World Championship, Begench Baltayev won the silver medal in the weight category up to 79 kg in sports sambo, and Guvanch Begaliyev in sports sambo (up to 98 kg) and Babajan Ivadullayev in combat sambo (over 98 kg) won bronze medals.
