1. The official visit of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Turkmenistan has ended, during which the Declaration on deepening the strategic partnership between the two countries was signed. The mportant events of the visit also were the awarding of the title of Honorary Professor of the Turkmen State University to the President of Uzbekistan, the opening of the “Tashkent” park in Ashgabat, and also the launch of the construction of the “Horezm-Dashoguz” Border Trade Zone.

2. Turkish Airlines will resume regular flights from Türkiye to Turkmenistan from November 2, 2022. Flights on the Istanbul-Turkmenbashi-Istanbul route will be operated twice a week on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Flight regularity is expected to increase.
