1. “PETRONAS Charigali (Turkmenistan) Sdn Bhd” announced the availability of an open vacancy for the position of an assistant in Ashgabat. Applicants must be fluent in English, Turkmen and Russian, have a high school diploma and 3 years of relevant work experience.
2. A monument with a statue of the famous horse Akhan (White Khan), which belongs to the Ahal-Teke equestrian complex of the President of Turkmenistan, will be erected on the territory of the Ahal velayat. Akhan set a world record in 2018 – he reared up and walked 10 meters in 4,19 seconds. This achievement was included in the Guinness Book of Records.
3. The XXI International Universal Exhibition “White City of Ashgabat” will be held on May 25-26 on the territory of the Chamber of commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan. More than 80 Turkmen and foreign companies are expected to participate in the review.
5. The festival “Turkmen theatrical art” has started in Ashgabat. The creative teams of theaters and the state circus of Turkmenistan participated in the solemn opening ceremony of the festival.
6. An update of the Turkmenportal mobile app for iOS has been released. The new version fixes a bug with receiving push notifications, video viewing starts without unnecessary click, the interface has been updated and the response speed has been increased. The app is available in three languages and can be downloaded right nor from the App Store.
7. Schools in Uzbekistan will introduce a single uniform from the beginning of the new academic year. The government of the republic ordered to determine the need for a school uniform for each region by June 1, and from August 10 uniforms will be sold in the country’s stores.
