"Real" defeated "Sevilla" in the match of the 18th round of the Spanish Football Championship.
The meeting in Madrid ended with a score of 4:2 in favor of the hosts, for whom Kylian Mbappe (10th minute), Federico Valverde (20), Rodrigo (34) and Brahim Diaz (53), assisted by Mbappe, scored. Isaac Romero (35) and Dodi Lukebakio (85) scored goals for the visitors.
"Real" scored 40 points and moved up to second place in the table, one point behind leading "Atletico" Madrid. Both teams have a match in hand over third-placed "Barcelona" (38). "Sevilla" (22) is in 12th place.
