President Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin and the people of the friendly country on the 20th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation. Today, the text of the congratulatory message has been read in the Information Program "Watan" of the Turkmen Television.
“The past period convincingly shows that the Treaty not only meets the historical traditions of friendship and good neighborliness of our peoples, but also establishes a solid legal basis for the stable development of the bilateral relations. I am convinced that the implementation of the potential provided for in the Treaty will serve to further strengthen and expand the Turkmen-Russian cooperation in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian and other areas,” Serdar Berdimuhamedov said in a telegram.
At the end of the message, the President of Turkmenistan wished Vladimir Putin good health and success in the responsible state activities, and progress and prosperity to the friendly people of Russia.
