Consul General of Turkmenistan in Kazan spoke on the occasion of the Day of Diplomatic Service Employee at KFU

Today, on the occasion of the Day of the Diplomatic Service Employee of Russia, the Institute of International Relations of Kazan Federal (Volga Region) University (KFU) hosted events attended by the Consul General of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation (Kazan city) Atadurdy Bayramov. This is reported on the official website of the Consulate.

In his speech, the Consul General congratulated the participants of the Conference on the holiday and wished success in training young diplomats. He noted that Turkmenistan's foreign policy is aimed at further strengthening strategic partnership with the Russian Federation, including certain regions of Russia. A. Bayramov also noted two visits of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov to Turkmenistan, which took place in 2021.

Currently, trade and economic projects are actively implemented with such companies of Tatarstan as PJSC Tatneft, PJSC Kamaz, LLC UK KER-Holding, PJSC Kazan Helicopter Plant and JSC Ak Bars Shipbuilding Corporation. Active cooperation is underway in the field of agriculture and medical industry. Over the past 2 years, the Consulate General and the Turkmen House of Trade LLC opened in Kazan. Cooperation signed among individual universities of the two countries, distance learning events and lectures of teaching staff are regularly held, it is planned to strengthen the scientific and legal base of Turkmenistan and Tatarstan.
A. Bayramov also informed that on the eve of the 30th anniversary of the Turkmen-Russian diplomatic relations establishment, which is to be celebrated on April 8 this year, a cultural and festive event with the participation of the Turkmen, Russian and foreign students will be held at the Institute of International Relations of KFU together with the Consulate General.
