At the Trusovo station of the Astrakhan region of the Privolzhsk railway, the transshipment of fertilizers from Turkmenistan from water to rail transport has been organized. This is the official website of the government of the Astrakhan region.
Employees of the Russian Railways holding have developed a fertilizer transportation scheme: imported cargo from Turkmenistan is delivered by tankers to the port berth located on the banks of the Volga, then loaded onto mineral carriers and then sent by rail.
Employees of the Astrahan Agency for Corporate Transport Services provide the client with advisory support in the preparation of transportation documents.
At present, more than 1 000 tons of fertilizers have been dispatched from Trusovo station under the new transportation scheme. In total, it is planned to send about 18 thousand tons of fertilizers by the end of winter.
