The creative team of the Turkmen State Circus presented a new New Year's show for the Ashgabat public.
According to "Turkmenistan: Golden Age," the program opened with the main characters of the New Year's festivities, Ayazbaba and Garpamyk, who wished the children and their parents a Happy New Year 2026.
As per tradition, the circus performance began with aerial gymnastics. Aylar Bibilova, a student at Ashgabat Secondary School No. 19, performed "Yarganat" as a bat on a hoop, accompanied by the drums of an orchestra.
Her performance was followed by a funny number, “In the Restaurant,” where six cute monkeys played the roles of waiters and customers.
A group of acrobats performed their new act, "Dorozhka," featuring Khalap Bayrammuradov as the soloist.
Next, Arslan Kuraev and young acrobats performed in the arena: Ramazan Akmuradov, Elnar Mengalieva and Gurbannazar Annamuradov. The youngest is only 4 years old.
The public's favorites, the poodles of Elmira and Zaryana Goshaev, performed a new number.
In the "Rubber" number, three gymnasts surprised the audience with their truly rubber-like flexibility.
During the intermission, the boys and girls had the opportunity to ride a horse and take selfies with their favorite performers, including, of course, clowns Pena Myratdurdyev and Esber Ataberdyev.
"Winged Steeds" is the title of the second act of the circus program. The glorious horsemen of the Galkynyş National Equestrian Games Group are six-time winners of the most prestigious international equestrian festivals.
All the horsemen demonstrated their mastery of trick riding during their performances, including candles, pyramids, pinwheels, juggling on a horse's back, and more. Speed, courage, and daring accompanied each act.
The equestrian performers included newcomers, including two of the youngest: Ramazan Akmuradov and Batyrkhan Pygyyev, the grandson of the national horse breeder of Turkmenistan, Pygy Bayramdurdyyev.
The performance concluded with an alley parade.
