Significant success has been achieved in natural gas production at the Galkynysh field. A new industrial gas flow was obtained from several productive horizons at production well No. 265, TDH reports.
As a result of successful drilling at a depth of 4,485 meters, promising formations were discovered at levels of 4,417-4,281 and 4,266-4,226 meters. The daily flow rate of the well is 2 million cubic meters of gas with an upward trend, demonstrating the effectiveness of modern field development methods in the country.
Particular attention should be paid to the use of advanced drilling technologies that require highly qualified specialists. The super-giant Galkynysh field, with its unique technical characteristics, continues to be a reliable source of natural gas.
Turkmenistan, which has the fourth largest gas reserves in the world, is actively developing many fields, including offshore fields in the Caspian Sea. The strategy for the development of the fuel and energy complex, developed by the National Leader of the Turkmen people Hero Arkadag and implemented by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, is aimed at increasing hydrocarbon production, diversifying export routes and developing the processing industry.
