Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian handed over to the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov the book “Worship of the Mother - Worship of the Shrine” translated into Farsi. This happened as part of the working visit of the National Leader of the Turkmen people to Iran, where he held negotiations with the President and Supreme Spiritual Leader of the country, reports the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov’s book is dedicated to the life path of his mother Ogulabat eje and reveals important aspects of the Turkmen mentality. In it, the author turns to folk art, parables and legends, emphasizing the connection between education and patriotism.
Accepting the translated book, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that he considers this gesture as a valuable gift to the Turkmen people and a sign of high veneration for mothers. He emphasized that respect for parents is an ancestral tradition of the Turkmen people.
The book talks about the holiness of the mother, the family hearth, love for the Motherland, as well as the basics of the relationship between parents and children, which plays a big role in the patriotic education of the younger generation.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed confidence that the translation of the book into Farsi will be interesting and useful for a wide readership in Iran, helping to strengthen cultural ties between the two countries.
