In Turkmenistan, the names of the winners of the poster competition “Youth and Peace”, announced by the United Nations Development Programme jointly with the PVE project with the support of the Government of Japan, were announced.
As reported by “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”, the winners in the 14 to 18 age category were:
- 1st place - Arslan Ishmetov from Turkmenbashy city;
- 2nd place - Lachyn Atayeva, Ashgabat city;
- 3rd place - Madina Myrtberdiyeva, Ashgabat city.
In the 18 to 24 age category, places are distributed as follows:
- 1st place – Selbi Ashirberdiyeva, Ashgabat;
- 2nd place – Aysapar Gurbanova, Ahal velayat;
- 3rd place – Islam Saryzhayev, Ashgabat.
In the category from 24 to 35 years old: 1st place – Bagdagul Temimova, Ashgabat city;
- 2nd place – Umar Orazbayev, Dashoguz velayat;
- 3rd place – Vyacheslav Saharov, Ashgabat.
- The competition was launched in honor of World Youth Day. In total, about 30 works were submitted. The works were judged on creativity, originality, composition and design, as well as technical execution.
On August 23, the UN Office in Ashgabat will host an awards ceremony for the winners, the source notes.
