June 29, 2024 marks the 67th anniversary of the birth of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
Gurbanguly Malikgulyevich Berdimuhamedov, heading the highest representative body of democracy - the Halk Maslahaty, makes an invaluable contribution to the development and prosperity of a sovereign state. His wise leadership and far-sighted policies contribute to strengthening the independence, permanent neutrality and international authority of Turkmenistan.
Under the leadership of the respected Arkadag, the country has achieved significant success in all spheres of life. Large-scale projects are being implemented to industrialize and diversify the national economy, develop the agro-industrial complex, transport infrastructure and the social sphere. The “open door” policy initiated by the National Leader of the Turkmen people contributes to the expansion of mutually beneficial international cooperation and strengthening of Turkmenistan’s position on the world stage.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov is known not only as an outstanding statesman, but also as a scientist, writer and athlete. His numerous works on the history, culture and traditions of the Turkmen people, as well as on issues of public administration and international relations, have received wide recognition both in Turkmenistan and abroad.
