In Turkmenistan, in the city of Arkadag, Culture Week 2024 continues. On the fourth day of the Week, early in the morning, forum delegates - museum specialists, creative workers and art masters - visited the Paryzdepe monument. A field scientific and practical seminar “The importance of including the results of research on historical and cultural monuments in scientific circulation in 2023” was organized here.
There was also a presentation ceremony of the state register of objects of the country’s national historical and cultural heritage, prepared for publication by the National Administration of Turkmenistan for the Protection, Study and Restoration of Historical and Cultural Monuments.
In the afternoon, a briefing for journalists was held at the Märkaw hotel, during which the importance of the current meeting was emphasized in the context of further studying the invaluable creative heritage of the great Turkmen poet and thinker Magtymguly Fragi.
Next, one of the highlights of the Culture Week program was the premiere show of the theatrical and circus performance Görogly at the State Equestrian Circus named after Görogly in the city of Arkadag.
Thus, the next day of the Culture Week demonstrated the versatility of Turkmen culture, determined ways of further work to enrich and reveal the enormous potential of the rich heritage created by the Turkmen people in order to preserve it, comprehensively study and pass it on to subsequent generations, reports the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
