As part of the celebration of Russian Language Day and the 225th anniversary of the birth of the great poet and writer A.S. Pushkin a gala event and master classes were held in Ashgabat, reports the Telegram channel of the Russian Embassy in Turkmenistan.
Residents of Ashgabat, as well as students of the Joint Turkmen-Russian School, took part in the celebrations. In honor of the holiday, the children read poems by A.S. Pushkin in different languages of the world.
The event became a highlight In the cultural life of the city and demonstrated deep respect for the Russian language and its great creator.
