The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Romania took part in the 13th ClasicFest festival, which was held on May 25 near Bucharest, in the cultural center of the Mogosoaia park and palace complex.
The festival was held under the slogan “Cultures of the World”. Each country organized a national stand at the event. At the stand presented by employees of the Turkmen Embassy, visitors were able to get acquainted with the economic achievements of the country, as well as its cultural values.
Ambassador A. Annaev in his speech spoke about the influence of Magtymguly Fragi’s creativity in the development of the Turkmen language and literature, Turkmen national identity and statehood, as well as his contribution to the treasury of universal spiritual values.
During the event, videos about the life of Magtymguly Fragi and a documentary about Turkmenistan prepared by Romanian National Television were shown.
In the musical part of the celebration, the Turkmen side presented folk melodies performed on dutar, as well as a performance by a folk group performing the kushtdepdi dance, the press service of the Embassy reports.
