Specialists from the Turkmendemiryollary agency held a video conference meeting with experts from the French company Arterail on possible cooperation in the field of railway transport, reports the website of the Agency of Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan.
Under the leadership of the founder and head of Arterail, Jerome Garcia, the French side expressed interest in establishing partnerships with the administration of the railway agency of Turkmenistan and readiness to participate in the implementation of existing projects for the modernization and electrification of the country's railways.
In turn, the Turkmen side invited the Arterail delegation to visit Turkmenistan in order to familiarize itself in detail with the industry and discuss specific areas of cooperation.
In addition, Turkmen railway workers were asked to prepare a draft Memorandum of Understanding to establish a direct partnership between the two parties in the relevant field.
