At an extended meeting of the Government on February 9, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov announced the commissioning of large social infrastructure facilities throughout the country in 2024 in order to improve the social and living standards of the population, reports the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
In particular, it is planned to build 430 thousand square meters of housing, secondary schools for 5360 student places and kindergartens for 1200 places. It is also planned to commission a number of infrastructure, industrial, medical and cultural facilities throughout the country. Among them:
In the city of Ashgabat:
- water treatment plant with a capacity of 150 thousand cubic meters of drinking water,
- cultural center Dokmaçylar,
- a new monument to Magtymguly Fragi and a cultural and park complex,
- 13 modern residential buildings in the Parahat-7 residential area,
- International treatment and rehabilitation center,
- International Scientific and Clinical Center of Physiology.
In Ahal velayat:
- 2nd stage of the cement plant in the Baherden etrap,
- modern villages in the Öňaldy gengeshlik of the Ak Bugday etrap and the Gowşut gengeshlik of the Kaahka etrap.
In Balkan velayat:
- road bridge across the Garabogazgol Bay,
- International air terminal complex in the village of Jebel.
In Lebap velayat:
- 2nd stage of a cement plant in Koytendag etrap.
In Mary velayat:
- new administrative building of the Sanitary and Epidemiological Service,
- Tejen-Mary section of the Ashgabat-Turkmenabat high-speed highway.
