Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov signed a Program of Joint Activities (“Road Map”) for the further development of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2023-2024.
The document was developed to indicate specific deadlines for the implementation in practice of agreements previously reached during negotiations between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan at the highest level. This was reported by the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.
The Road Map defines areas of cooperation between Ashgabat and Tashkent in politics, economics, culture, energy, transport, logistics, water management and environmental protection.
