A young soloist from Turkmenistan took second place at the Delphic Games of the CIS countries

On Monday, following the results of the competitive competitions of the XVII Youth Delphic Games of the CIS member states, the winners were determined in the following areas: solo folk singing, piano and folk instruments. Kabar.kg reports this.

In the “solo singing” nomination in the age category of 18-23 years, a participant from Turkmenistan, Guychberdi Gulov, took second place.

The first place in this category was awarded to Chubak uulu Sanzhar from Kyrgyzstan, and Didar Shunaev from the Republic of Kazakhstan received bronze.

The jury of the competition included more than 30 prominent artists, professors and doctors of art history from the CIS. Based on the results of the competition days, all winners of the Games will be awarded gold, silver and bronze medals, the source notes.

Let us remind you that the XVII Youth Delphic Games of the CIS member states are held in Bishkek from October 6 to 10. The creative delegation of Turkmenistan, which includes young musicians and artists aged 14 to 24 years, is participating in the Delphic Games for the first time.

The Turkmen school of academic singing was represented at the Games by Ishankulova Aygozel, solo folk by Gulov Guychberdi, and pop by Novruzov Allaberdy and Ruslanov Asal. In the mandatory programs of their performances, young talents, along with world classics, included works from the treasury of folk art, as well as outstanding Turkmen composers.
