The state enterprise “Nebitmash”, which is part of the Ministry of Industry and Construction Materials of Turkmenistan, carries out all types of forging work with various metals and alloys.
Forging is working with metal in a heated state, when it becomes soft and suitable for processing in order to give it the desired shape. The higher the carbon content of the steel, the lower the heating required. On average, to work with metal, it is heated to temperatures of 900-1050 degrees Celsius.
The fuel for heating must have a minimum content of sulfur and phosphorus. At high temperatures, these elements will combine with the metal and degrade its quality.
At the “Nebitmash” enterprise, forging is carried out in two ways - stamping and free forging. During stamping forging, the metal fills the die, thereby taking the desired shape. In free forging, the metal takes the desired shape due to the impacts of special flat strikers.
The company’s specialists also perform such types of work with metal as broaching, bending, upsetting, chopping, punching holes and welding.
