The state enterprise “Nebitmash” of the Ministry of Industry and Building Materials of Turkmenistan is one of the oldest and at the same time dynamically developing in modern Turkmenistan. Established in 1960, all these years it has been providing equipment and components to the country's oil and energy industry. By 2020, such state-owned enterprises as “Turkmenkabel”, the” Central Specialized Design Bureau Mashyngurlushyk”, and “Turkmenmash” joined “Nebitmash” as branches.
Initially created as an enterprise to supply the country's oil and gas industry, “Nebitmash” then began to develop the production of products for the electric power sector, as well as products for the infrastructure of the energy complex as a whole.
At present time, among the products manufactured by “Nebitmash” are gas boilers, oil flow heaters, equipment for pumping and draining oil products, metal containers for various purposes and volumes, switch cabinets, transformer and lighting stations, outdoor units, insulators and fuses, various components from brass for electrical equipment - input contacts, knife switches and other parts, high-voltage steel columns for power lines, border observation towers.
In addition, “Nebitmash” produces metal observation towers and caravans with and without “skids”. Such trailers can be used as residential and administrative premises at industrial facilities remote from settlements.
The enterprise has also mastered the production of such modern elements of urban social infrastructure as children's playgrounds and outdoor exercise equipment for fans of sports and a healthy lifestyle.
The workshops of “Nebitmash” produce overalls for manufacturing and construction enterprises - jackets, trousers, mittens from especially durable fabrics. In addition, the specialists of the enterprise carry out turning, milling and forging works of any complexity.
“Nebitmash” cooperates with foreign enterprises to purchase the necessary raw materials. For example, in 2022, the enterprise signed a contract with “Tajik Aluminum Company” OJSC for the purchase of a batch of aluminum for further production of profile products.
The strategy that “Nebitmash” invariably adheres to is to provide the national industry with competitive import-substituting equipment and components.
