As a result of successfully carried out drilling operations at the next well of the Galkynysh field at a depth of 4496 to 4214 meters, an industrial influx of natural gas was obtained.
As Nebit-Gaz reports, experts have calculated the well's flow rate, which is 2 million 264 cubic meters of natural gas per day.
Currently, the total reserves of the Galkynysh gas field with the Yashlar and Garakol deposits are estimated at 27.4 trillion cubic meters.
The fact that the productivity of each of the wells put into operation at this field is about 2 million cubic meters of gas per day indicates the huge reserves of natural fuel at the Galkynysh field, the source notes.
