The Turkmen film has been announced as one of the nominees for the "Best Film of Central Asia" award of the national film award of Kazakhstan "Ak Ilbirs".
According to the film award coordinator Saadat Kazakbayeva, the list of nominees includes the following films:
- "Akyn", director Darezhan Omirbaev (Kazakhstan);
- “Gyzyl kurte”, directed by Sahysalykh Bairamov (Turkmenistan);
- "Evolution" directed by Yolkin Tuychiev (Uzbekistan).
The winners will be announced on July 8 at the film awards ceremony, according to culture.akipress.
We should remind that the film by the Turkmen film director participated in the program of the One-Sixth international festival, at the Korkut Ata film festival.
