1. In May, the Days of Cinema of Uzbekistan are scheduled to be held in Turkmenistan. This issue was discussed during the meeting between the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Uzbekistan Yazguly Mammadov and the Deputy Director of the Cinematography Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan Rizaev. The Uzbek side expressed its desire to hold the Days of Uzbek Cinema both in Ashgabat and in the velayat centers of Turkmenistan. Days of cinema of Turkmenistan in Uzbekistan are scheduled for September - during the 15th Tashkent Film Festival.

2. On April 1, a new bus route will be launched in Ashgabat. It will connect Ashgabat and the Hazar settlement of the Balkan velayat. Buses will run on the new route daily. The bus will depart from the International Bus Station to the Hazar settlement at 08:00, and from the Hazar settlement to Ashgabat at 10:00 local time. One-way ticket price is 60 manats.

3. The Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan appealed to the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation with a proposal to increase the quotas of budget places in institutions of secondary vocational and higher education to 500 this year. This was announced by Yulia Zaitseva, First Secretary of the Russian Embassy in Turkmenistan, representative of Rossotrudnichestvo.

4. The delegation of Turkmenistan, headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Mahri Bashimova, took part in high-level events of the UN General Assembly. During the meeting chaired by Turkmenistan as Vice President of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly, Mahri Bashimova spoke about the measures taken by Turkmenistan at the national level to establish waste management systems in settlements, introduce modern technologies for the disposal of household and industrial waste in order to improve the living conditions of the population of Turkmenistan and reduce the gap between regions through the rapid development of rural areas.

5. On April 8, residents of Ashgabat and guests of the capital can take part in the Easter Bazaar, which is held by the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Turkmenistan. The Easter Bazaar will be organized in the best traditions of Easter: guests will be able to taste delicious pastries, buy handmade souvenirs, and listen to good music. Entertainment and games will be organized for children.

6. London is no longer considered the world's first financial center - now it shares this status with New York. Singapore, Frankfurt and Paris come right after them on the list. London intends to take measures to regain the title of the world financial center, for which they have attracted specialists from the largest British banks and financial corporations.

7. MTS presented to the public a new commercial with an updated logo. The MTS logo in the form of a white egg on a red background, which has become familiar to everyone for a long time, has been replaced by a laconic red square, in which the letters MTS are inscribed around the perimeter.

8. Turkmen athletes have registered to participate in the Asian Judo Cup among cadets and youth in Almaty. The tournament dedicated to the memory of Beket Mahmutov will be held from April 7 to 9. The competition will be held for the sixth time. More than 300 athletes from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Greece, Georgia, Latvia, Mongolia and the USA will take part in the tournament.

9. Turkmen footballer Suleiman Muhadov signed a contract with the Tajik football club CSKA. “Forward Suleyman Muhadov has joined our team. We wish success to Suleyman and hope that he will please the fans of the CSKA team”, - the press service of the Dushanbe club said in a statement. 29 years old Muhadov moved to CSKA from “Khujand”.

10. FIFA has stripped Indonesia of the right to host the FIFA World Youth Championship. The decision was made following a meeting between the president of the International Football Federation, Gianni Infantino, and the head of the Indonesian Football Association, Eric Tahir. The tournament was to be held in Indonesia from May 20 to June 11, 2023. The new tournament organizer will be announced later. The current world champion among youth teams is the Ukrainian team.
