Ambassador of Turkmenistan Sapar Palvanov presented his credentials to Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg. The ceremony was held at the Palace of the Grand Dukes, reports the press service of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Brussels.

Further, during the audience, the parties discussed the prospects for multifaceted cooperation between the two countries. The Turkmen diplomat assured that he would do everything possible to develop the Turkmen-Luxembourg cooperation at a new level, and said that work had already begun to establish a systematic dialogue between the business circles of the two countries. The Monarch of Luxembourg supported this initiative, noting that the parties need to learn more about each other.

The Duke welcomed the policy of Turkmenistan to fight for the environment, namely the reduction of methane emissions. Sapar Palvanov stressed that, as an energy power, Turkmenistan is taking the necessary measures to implement national plans in the field of environmental safety.

Turkmenistan and Luxembourg have good prospects for realizing the potential of cooperation in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, and the key to this is regular communication at various levels, the parties noted.

Let us note that in January, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Kingdom of Belgium (city of Brussels) Sapar Begjanovich Palvanov was simultaneously appointed Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
