The wearing of masks in the open air has been canceled in Turkmenistan since June 1, however, observance of the mask regime in enclosed spaces and in all types of transport is still recommended.
Today the Information Center of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan announced about this. The text of the message is given on the official website turkmenmetbugat.gov.tm, in the newspapers “Turkmenistan” and “Neutral Turkmenistan”.
The Information Center of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan recommends:
“Observe the rules of personal hygiene and sanitary standards. Wear medical masks in the premises and transport. Remove medical masks outdoors. Keep your hands clean, wash them often with soap and water or use a hand sanitizer. Keep yourself out of direct sunlight”.
Let us remind that earlier specialists of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan came to this decision after a thorough study of WHO reports and analysis of mass media news about the weakening of the situation in the world caused by the pandemic, as a result of which a significant part of the states are gradually softening preventive measures.
