Members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan developed proposals for the implementation of investment projects for the establishment of agricultural, food and industrial enterprises, in particular, in the Balkan Region. There are 14 projects in such areas as the cultivation of vegetables, grapes and orchards using water–saving technology, the construction of livestock and poultry complexes, modern greenhouses and cold storage warehouses for food products among them. This was reported by Deputy Prime Minister Chary Gylydzhov during a government meeting held at the Avaza National Recreation Zone on April 14, the country's State News Agency reports.

In this regard, the Deputy Prime Minister presented a corresponding list of new facilities scheduled for construction in the western region in 2022-2028 for the consideration of the Head of state.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov ordered a detailed analysis and revision of the proposals of the country's entrepreneurs on the implementation of investment projects in the Balkan Region.

To recap, the achievements of the Turkmen entrepreneurs in various fields can be found at the Exhibition UIET-2022, which is held at the Expocenter of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry until April 18 inclusive.
