1. Tajikistan increased the volume of trade with Turkmenistan by 6 times during the first two months of this year. This growth happened against the background of a general increase in the volume of trade with CIS countries. For January - February, the republic increased its trade turnover by 47.1% compared to the same period in 2021.
2. The Chinese Weightlifting Association has decided not to hold the 2022 World Championships and agreed to transfer the right on the organization of the competition to another country. The World Weightlifting Championship should be held in Chongqing from 18 to 27 September. The IWF Executive Board announced the search for new candidates for the right to host the tournament.

5. The first container train from Turkmenistan to China successfully passed through Kazakhstan and reached its destination. A train of 42 forty-foot containers loaded with gypsum started from the Akyayla station (Turkmenistan), after which it crossed the territory of Kazakhstan, covering a distance of 4150 km to the border with China.
