The candidates from two political parties of Turkmenistan – the Agrarian and the Party of the Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, literally, in parallel conduct all planned meetings with the voters at the upcoming extraordinary presidential elections of the country on March, 12. Figuratively speaking, political appointees “breathe down opponent’s neck”. The most part of the electoral marathon has already been passed. On the 5th of March they will appear before the capital’s voters. And today their trips to regions has been finished with the one in Mary.
In the morning in the meeting hall of the Hakimlik of Mary velayat the candidate from the Agrarian Party – the deputy hakim of Mary velayat Agajan Bekmuradov met with the representatives of the voters of the region, information program “Vatan” of the Turkmen television reported.
Opening the meeting the Chairman of Mary velayat Committee of the Agrarian Party S.Suleymanov gave word to the candidate's election agent, Deputy chairman of Mary velayat branch of the Humanitarian Association of Turkmen of the World, T.Bashimov, who familiarized the audience with the work biography of A.Bekmuradov, a civil engineer, describing him as a young initiative and skillful leader with experience in public organizations and local executive authorities.
It was highlighted that the residents of Mary velayat where A.Bekmuradov work, are well aware of his organizational skills. Then the word was given to the candidate, who familiarized the audience with his election program in details.
Here, in the afternoon Babamyrat Meredov, the director of the Economic Society “Vepaly Gurlushyk”, nominated as a candidate for President of Turkmenistan by the Party of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of the country.
The election agent of the candidate acquainted the audience with the candidate's work biography, describing him as a worthy person, a faithfull and competent specialist, with good organizational skills, an active life and civic position.
The candidate for the highest state post acquainted voters with his election program, paying special attention to large-scale socio-economic programs aimed at improving the social and living conditions of citizens and rural residents.
B.Meredov answered the questions of those present, specifying the provisions of his election platform, in particular, concerning the support of the agro-industrial complex and entrepreneurship.
