In velayat hospitals for tuberculosis patients, equipment has been installed for automatically conducting a general blood test. The equipment will allow regular monitoring of blood counts during treatment. It will only take a minute for the patient to receive a complete and accurate analysis, according to UNDP social media.
This equipment was installed by the United Nations Development Program in Turkmenistan within the framework of the project “Ensuring universal access to high-quality diagnosis and treatment of drug-resistant forms of tuberculosis (DR-TB) in Turkmenistan”, funded by the Global Fund.
It should be reminded that last year Turkmenistan received a grant from the Global Fund to fight tuberculosis.
