A new book by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, “Magtymguly – Thinker of the World,” has been published. The publication is made at a high printing level, presented in separate books in three languages – Turkmen, Russian and English, and is richly illustrated.
A presentation of the book, organized by the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, the Mejlis and public organizations, took place in Ashgabat on January 3 at the Center for Public Organizations, TDH reports.
The speakers noted that the new book is addressed to a wide readership and connoisseurs of the rich literary heritage of Magtymguly.
The work highlights the literary heritage of the outstanding poet and thinker, his enormous contribution to world culture, the events held on the occasion of the poet’s anniversary, as well as the high achievements and achievements of Turkmenistan.
The book consists of 8 sections: “The Key to Understanding Magtymguly”; “The School of Magtymguly Fragi and Turkmen Magtymguly Scholars”; “A Treasure Trove of Reason”; “The Poet of the World”; “The Poet of Times and Civilizations”; “Remain in the People’s Memory”; “Adopted Documents, Congratulations and Speeches Related to the 300th Anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi’s Birth”; “On the Path to the Creator and Truth”.
The book especially notes talented scientists, professors, writers, foreign specialists who contributed to the study of the life and literary heritage of the great poet, and highly appreciates their work. Lists of those awarded the jubilee medal ”Magtymguly Pyragynyň 300 ýyllygyna” and commemorative signs are published here.
