On October 10, Turkmenistan will host an international forum of medical scientists “Medical diplomacy - the basis of a healthy world.” Deputy Prime Minister for Education, Healthcare and Sports Sapardurdy Toylyev reported this to the head of state at today's meeting of the Government.
Also, on the eve of the professional holiday, Turkmen doctors will take part by video link in an international conference organized by the World Health Organization (WHO), which will be dedicated to World Palliative Health Day.
A number of other events are planned to be held in specialized institutions of the country, including scientific and practical conferences dedicated to the achievements of the national health system and the exchange of professional experience, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
