More than 170 greenhouses with a total area of over 1,683 hectares are currently under construction in Turkmenistan. This was reported by “Turkmenistan: Golden Age” with reference to the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of the country.
Another 16 farms are planning to start construction of greenhouses with a total area of 122 hectares this year.
In the agricultural regions of the country, according to the UIET, there are about 80 greenhouses with a total area of more than 410 hectares.
Earlier we reported that 400 jobs have been created in private greenhouse farms in Turkmenistan.
