The scientific development of the use of active mineral additives, which belongs to the candidate of chemical Sciences R. Nurberdyev, allowed to increase the production of cement at the plants of the Ministry of industry and construction of Turkmenistan by 20%.

The scientist's invention has already been patented in the State service for intellectual property of the Ministry of economy and Finance. The Lebap cement plant, where mineral additives were tested, received a quality certificate for 400-G20-K cement.

The essence of this method is that crushed basalt porphyry is added to the mixture of clinker and gypsum – local raw materials extracted from the “Ufra” Deposit in the Balkan velayat. This allows not only to increase the production of building material, but also to improve its quality, as well as reduce the cost of raw materials, electricity, and gas. Harmful emissions to the atmosphere have been reduced.

Currently, manufacturers and scientists are working on the production of cement of the 500-G20-K brand, "Turkmenistan: Golden age" reports.
