Online negotiations with the management of the Russian company “TRANSOIL-Terminal” were held at the Ministry of agriculture and environmental protection. The event was also attended by representatives of the foreign Ministry, the Union of Industrialists and entrepreneurs of the country, according to the state news Agency of Turkmenistan.
Among the topics discussed are cooperation in Maritime cargo transportation and logistics, and agricultural products deliveries.
Representatives of the Russian business community familiarized their Turkmen colleagues with the capabilities of their company, which has a specialized terminal for receiving and shipping vegetable oils from railway, automobile and water transport, and storing them in a tank farm. This terminal is located near the city of Narimanov on the right Bank of the Volga.
A thorough exchange of views took place on the prospects for the development of trade and economic ties, which have the most favorable conditions for their activation, including the geographical proximity of the Caspian region of Turkmenistan and the Astrakhan region.
During the online meeting, it was emphasized that the interaction established between the business circles of the two countries in many key areas has recently been characterized by good dynamics of development. This is evidenced by the meeting of the Turkmen-Astrakhan Joint Council on entrepreneurship held the day before.
