«Tekmil» became the first individual enterprise in Turkmenistan entrusted with the construction and equipping of our country's pavilion at the EXPO 2020 in Dubai (United Arab Emirates). It is noteworthy that this is fixed by a special Decree of the President of Turkmenistan. How did the company itself perceive this decision of the Head of State? An exclusive interview began with this question, which was given to Turkmenportal by the designer of «Tekmil» Myratgeldi Berkeliyev.
«It is a great honor and great responsibility for us that the esteemed President entrusted us to build and equip the pavilion of Turkmenistan», says M. Berkeliyev. - We very seriously approached the solution of this task. This event will be of a very high level, and all participating countries will demonstrate their most advanced achievements and national successes.
- Do you already have some ideas? What will our pavilion look like at this prestigious exhibition in Dubai? Can you share some details of the project with our readers?
- Yes, I am pleased to tell you about our national pavilion at the World Exhibition in Dubai. EXPO 2020 will be divided into three large thematic areas: “Opportunity”, “Mobility” and “Stability”. The Turkmen Pavilion will be located at the main entrance.
1581 square meters were allocated for the Pavilion of Turkmenistan, of which 976 square meters were provided for its building. Our pavilion will look like this: on the facade there will be an artistic and monumental image of the Akhal-Teke horse, created from LED lighting. On the right side of the pavilion, the wall will be stylized in the image of the Turkmen carpet, and on the left side - in the image of the Turkmen yurt "Gara oi", which at night will be transformed into a huge screen.
According to the project, on the roof of the pavilion there are depicted göls, ornaments of Turkmen carpets, as well as the inscription “Turkmenistan” for the entire fifty-meter-long pavilion with luminous lighting in the evening.
A screen is installed at the entrance to the pavilion, which will broadcast information about Turkmenistan. Next will be located two touch screen.
The main hall on the first floor will be presented in a three-dimensional multimedia format, on which images will be alternated, conveying information about the nature of Turkmenistan and the achievements of our country's industry.
In the center of the hall there will be a hydraulic system, which will activate symbolic models of wheat stacks and cotton bushes. A kinetic system will be installed on the ceiling, bringing lighting devices into mechanical action.
On the second floor of the pavilion there will be a stage for performances and events, a souvenir shop, as well as a cafe.
- When are you planning to start construction work?
- Now work in the design process. Our designers have fully prepared the design of the project, which we have successfully confirmed in Turkmenistan. The next stage: before the start of construction, we have to protect the project in the UAE.
- What projects were presented by your company during the recent exhibition “White City - Ashgabat”?
- At this exhibition, our company presented a draft of the closing ceremony and a stage for performances at the Amul - Khazar International Rally. But the main focus at the White City - Ashgabat exhibition was made in favor of the Pavilion of Turkmenistan at EXPO 2020 in Dubai.
