High-level delegations and a number of international events are scheduled for the month of May in Turkmenistan, the State news agency of Turkmenistan reported.
In connection with the chairmanship of Turkmenistan in the Commonwealth of Independent States in 2019, on May 31 in Ashgabat, a regular meeting of the Council of CIS Heads of Government is envisaged.
Along with this, the XIV Forum of Creative and Scientific Intelligentsia of the Commonwealth will be held in the Turkmen capital. On May 15, the next meeting of the Intergovernmental Coordination Council on CIS seed production is scheduled.
One of the important instruments for the implementation of the country's foreign policy course is bilateral ministerial consultations, conducted on a systematic basis. At the end of April and the next month, delegations from a number of countries are scheduled to visit our country. In the third decade of May, Turkmen-Georgian and Turkmen-German political consultations are also planned to be held in Ashgabat.
Preparations are also being made for the holding in May in our country of regular meetings of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Russian and Turkmen-Belarusian Commissions on Economic Cooperation, as well as the Turkmen-Belarusian business forum. In addition, the next meeting of the Turkmen-Japanese Committee for Economic Cooperation will take place next month.
At the same time, it is planned to organize visits to Turkmenistan by delegations of foreign states and international organizations, as well as a number of relevant events.
